Hi there,

Thanks for reading Ecology of a Small Town – where I share both personal and professional knowledge about living life and raising a family in rural Colorado.

Here you’ll find posts about all sorts of stuff here along the Colorado River Valley. These quaint towns connect-the-dots from the Rocky Mountains all the way to the Utah border, and while the communities are small – the adventures are endless.
I’m a 30(ish)-year-old mom with two young daughters, an outdoorsman/handyman husband, and a full-time career focused on vegetation, ecology, and helping local landowners. This blog is just for fun, but I do try to make it informative!

I’m just here trying to share the love of education (to a degree), parenting (at times), and the outdoors (always) to locals and visitors alike.

After all – we are all part of the same web.
